What We’re Doing:
Come create Wissahickon Valley Park! We will make our beloved local forest, with all of its fascinating, interdependent trees, plants, critters, and landforms. Draw and paint, make sculpture and origami, and invent other possibilities along the way! Participants will experience the fun of transforming recycled materials and art materials into all kinds of living things, and can work independently or collaboratively. The Wissahickon will be our constant guide, teacher, and inspiration. Our creations will become part of Walk in the Wisshickon, an installation in Woodmere’s Helen Millard Children’s Gallery this September. Camp will run for two weeks. Each week will be different, so you can sign up for one or both.

Doing individual portfolio projects or other kinds of projects is also an option—- there will be plenty of time and support for each person’s artistic expression!

Age Range
These camps will be multi-age groups, ranging from 6 to 26. Each artist will get to enjoy camaraderie with people younger and older than they are, as everyone works at their own developmental level.

About COVID:
We will be meeting indoors and outside on my loading dock, which is shady in the mornings, and is covered by a canopy. Vaccination is required and we will practice social distancing. Please plan on wearing a mask indoors so we can be safe in the studio.

Cost:
The cost is $360/week, with a sliding scale from $260 to $560. Please contact me to request scholarship support—- I don’t want money to stand in our way!

DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HOLD A SPACE FOR YOU UNTIL I RECEIVE A 50% DEPOSIT.
