What We’re Doing:
Come create a rainforest! We will make all the rainforest's layers, from the ground to the overstory, with the plants and animals who inhabit each one. Draw and paint, make sculpture and origami, and invent other possibilities along the way! Participants will experience the fun of transforming recycled materials and art materials into all kinds of living things, and can work independently or collaboratively. Rainforests will be our constant guide, teacher, and inspiration. Our creations will become part of Walk in the Rainforest, an installation in Woodmere’s Helen Millard Children’s Gallery this September. Every week will be different, so feel free to sign up for as many as you would like.

Doing individual portfolio projects can also be an option this week. Please contact me if your artist is interested.

This class is for:
People age 7 and up. If your younger child would like to attend, please contact me.

About COVID:
We will be meeting indoors and outside on my loading dock, which is shady in the mornings, and is covered by a canopy. Vaccination is required and we will practice social distancing. Please plan on wearing a mask indoors so we can be safe in the studio.

Cost:
The cost is $185/week, with a sliding scale from $120 to $360.
