from our Create Your Own Book! class

Reading at 6:45

Celebrate the accomplishments of our artists and illustrators as they present their work! You'll get to hobnob with the authors, hear their stories, and see the wonderful  books they wrote, illustrated, and bound themselves. You can read more about the class below. Stay tuned for when it will be offered again!

Calling all aspiring young writers and artists!

Come create your own illustrated book with author Cordelia Jensen and artist Mindy Flexer!

Participating authors will focus on a specific story craft each week, learning to use both words and images to create memorable settings, characters, plots, and other ingredients for their books. Along with developing their stories, authors will use book structures of their choice to turn their writing and illustrations into actual finished books. Each author will have the freedom and support to follow his or her own vision, both as a writer and an artist. There will be a festive presentation and reading for parents and other admirers at the end of the session.
