Earth Day Zero-Waste
UP-CYCLING MAKE-IN
Sunday, April 18
drop in any time from 10am to 11:30am

In honor of Earth Day, let’s enjoy each other’s company and creativity as we work on up-cycling projects that use our unwanted stuff to create zero-waste households! Children, teens, and adults are all welcome. Click hereto register and get the Zoom link.

Here are some ideas for things you could make:

WITH PAPER:
- Cards for Earth Day, Mother’s, Father’s Day, or other holidays, from wrapping paper, old calendars, and other decorative papers.
- Posters about Earth Day and Zero-Waste for schools, libraries, and other places that are opening up.
- Blank books or written and illustrated books.

WITH CLOTH:
We can show you how to get started on making:
- A tote bag out of an old T-shirt, so you won’t need disposable bags.
- Cloth napkins, quilts, braided rugs, stuffed toys, or other things out of old clothes or other scrap cloth.
- New clothes out of old clothes.

WITH OTHER THINGS:
- You tell us!!! We are happy to help you follow your imagination.

We will also have resources available for people who want to learn more about local and global zero-waste initiatives. We can’t wait to see you there!!
