“Will We?, 48” x 48”, oil on linen mounted on panel, 2020. I based this painting on both observation and invention. It was inspired by the climate emergency, and the twin opportunities it presents: complete destruction on one hand, and transformation to a just and equitable world on the other.

Enjoy Philadelphia's fall in a beautiful place with a vibrant community of artists! Use Woodmere's grounds as a starting point for drawing or painting. You will have a whole range of choices: you can work from observation to create traditional landscapes that explore deep space, make up-close botanical images, or anything in between. Or, work from your imagination or from references to place figures and objects in whatever real or imagined space you create. This class will be highly individualized, to meet the interests of each artist, with plenty of freedom and how-to support. Teens and adults of all levels are invited. Younger artists are also welcome. Please contact me if your younger child would like to attend. You can register HERE.
